A group of employees at a Long Island Costco store are set to come forward and claim their jackpot prize of nearly $202 million that won in the New York Lottery and Powerball.
New York Lottery officials have not officially named the winners. But they’ve scheduled a press conference Thursday at a Long Island store, where media reports have indicated the newly found millionaires work.
Some Costco employees have told reporters about 20 workers are members of the store’s lottery club.
Costco is a wholesale store, like a big supermarket.
The owner of a Lindenhurst store where the winning ticket was sold will receive a $10,000 bonus check from the June 1 Powerball drawing.
The numbers were 8, 18, 38, 46 and 56, with the Powerball 31.
